Structural composition

The structure of disc granulator is relatively simple and compact, mainly composed of disc, scraper, screen, transmission device, feeding device, discharging device and control system. Among them, the disc is the core component, usually made of high-strength materials to withstand high-speed rotation and material friction. The scraper is used to scrape the particles on the disc to prevent excessive accumulation of particles on the disc. The screen is then used to classify and screen the particles to ensure a uniform product size. In addition, the disc granulator is equipped with an advanced control system, which can monitor the running status of the equipment in real time and adjust the rotational speed and tilting angle of the disc to adapt to different raw materials and process requirements.

Working Principle

    Feeding: Powdery raw materials enter the rotating disc uniformly through the feed opening.

    Agglomeration nucleation: the material rolls along the wall of the disc under the action of centrifugal force, and the core of the particles is formed by spray humidification or natural adhesion.

    Snowball effect: the particles continuously adsorb fine powder in rolling, gradually increasing to the target particle size.

    Discharge: Finished particles overflow from the edge of the disc and enter the next process (drying, sieving, etc.).
