Roller extrusion granulator: It consists of two counter-rotating rollers with mould holes of specific shapes and sizes on the surface of the rollers. The material is added from the inlet, and under the extrusion of the rollers, it is pressed into the mould cavities to form granules, which are then automatically demoulded.
Principle of Roller Extruding Pelletising Machine: Using the squeezing pressure between two relatively rotating rollers, the material entering between the rollers is compressed into particles with certain shape and strength. In the process of extrusion, the material firstly excludes the air between the powder particles, so that the particles are rearranged, part of the particles are crushed, and the fine powder fills up the gap between the particles, while the newly generated surfaces contact with each other to form a strong reorganisation bond, so as to realise the granulation.
Roller extrusion granulator structure composition
Feeding system: including feeding hopper, feeder, etc. It is used to feed materials into the granulator evenly.
Roller device: composed of two rollers, is the core component of the granulator, the shape and size of the mould holes on the surface of the rollers determine the shape and size of the granules.
Transmission system: it is composed of motor, reducer, pulley, gear and so on, which provides power for the rotation of the roller shaft and ensures that the two roller shafts rotate synchronously and in the opposite direction.
Crushing and screening system: crushing and screening the large piece of material after extrusion moulding, to get the granule product which meets the requirement of particle size, and the material which does not pass the screening can be returned to re-pelletising.
